Who am I?
My name is Peter Keo, and I use he/they pronouns. I am an incoming freshman at the University of Pennsylvania and I am currently in the midst of my senior year at Science Leadership Academy in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I am an 18 year old Asian-American who pursues photography and filmmaking as a hobby in complement to their main hobbies of the fascination of Hallyu culture and K-pop. I am also heavily involved in social justice work in the Southeast Asian community through grassroots organization VietLead, being a youth leader with them for almost two years now.
I aspire to be the best that I can be, putting people first before work as the product of the work is dependent on the person creating it. As I begin to transition into my post-secondary education, I am hopeful enough to be able to enter the field of medicine where I could perhaps work as an assistant physician one day.
